Imaging and genetic biomarkers for Alzheimer's disease |
Abstract: |
The proposed 4-year longitudinal study will examine the associations among cognitive, imaging and genetic variables associated with future disease expression. We propose to use in-house developed state-of-the-art MRI analysis protocols as well as state-of-the-art genetic microarray technology to quantify the cortical and subcortical atrophy and establish their predictive value for conversion from mild cognitive impairment to Alzheimer's disease. |
