Linear delineations
made in Illustrator (Adobe, San Jose, CA) upon individual slices
of the atlas volumes. These delineations were exported with a grid
in Targa image format (.tga) into LightWave (Newtek, San Antonio,
TX). The delineations were used as a guide for constructing 3D surfaces.
The grid was used to place the surfaces into the same space as the
atlas. 3D surfaces were made for each structure and saved as LightWave
scenes (.lws) for display in the MAP Atlas Viewer. Deep Exploration
(Right Hemisphere, Burbank, CA) was used to import 3D surfaces in
LightWave object format (.lwo) and convert to object file format
(.off) for use by the Object Slicer in the MAP Atlas Viewer.
