MBAT Search

The MBAT Search module provides the ability to query external data sources. The module is maintained as a separate package in the MouseBIRN repository and built as as separate jar, mbat_search.jar. An API is provided, and described in the MBATSearchJavadocs?.

MBAT_search obtains this data via the UMD API described in MBATMetadataAPI. This data is presented to the user to select appropriate search parameters. The parameter selection as well as a description of the algorithm used to search the available sources is described in MBATSearchingAlgorithm
