- The direct cortical mapping paper is attached at the bottom.
- Ongoing research: direct mapping of general surfaces without landmarks, such as sub-cortical surfaces.
- Build directories:
- Solaris (cerebro-sn1): /cxfs/tmp/yshi/Executables (*.exe executable files)
- Cranium (cerebro-rsn1): /cxfs/ccb/yshi/CraniumExecutables - there is only a slight change to the names of the executables, relative to the builds on Solaris Grid (cerebro-sn1) we removed the .exe extension for all the names. Otherwise, the names are the same.

- Mesh2DTGrid.exe: It converts a triangular mesh to the narrow band representatoin of the signed distance function.
- SDF2Mesh.exe: It extracts the zero level set, which is reprensented as a triangular mesh, from a signed distance function.
- 3. Cortical mapping tools include:
- 3.1 GeodesicMapping?.exe: It finds the initial mapping.
- 3.2 SurfaceMapping?.exe: It computes the direct cortical map.
- 3.3 LinearInterpMapToMesh?.exe: It finds the map on the triangular mesh representation of the source cortical surface.
- 4. Hippocampal surface mapping tools include:
- 4.1 HPLandmarkCurves?.exe: It automatically extracts a set of landmark curves from a hippo surface in triangular mesh representation.
- 4.2 HPRegionLabel?.exe: Given the landmark curves, this algorithm partitions the hippo surface into 14 regions.
- 4.3 HPInitMappingWithLabel?.exe: Using the landmark curves and region labels, this algorithm finds the initial map.
- 4.4 HPHarmonicMapping?.exe: This algorithm computes the direct map between two hippo surfaces.
- 4.5 HPSphericalMapping?.exe: This algorithm computes the map from the hippo surface to a sphere.
- 4.6 Mesh2MeshInterpolation.exe: This algorithm performs interpolation between two different mesh representations of the same surface. For example, the sphere.
