Logistics

Program

Format of Presentations

• All presentations are 15-minute long (12 Talk + 3 Questions). Suggested time breakdown
  • 1-2 minutes on the driving biological problem
  • 1-2 min on the approach/method
  • 8-10-min tool demo
  • 1 min URLs, docs, download, etc.
• All presentations are hands-on demonstrations of newly developed robust tools for computational neuroscience
• All demos must use real brain imaging data (e.g., CCB Data)
• All demos have to explicitly demonstrate:
  • Software Tool URL page
  • Documentation URL page
  • Download URL page
  • CVS/SVN, as appropriate
  • Grid-build locations (on cranium.loni.ucla.edu), as appropriate
  • Pipeline (*.pipe) wrapper scripts for execution from within Pipeline
• All demonstrations must be installed, tested (by 03/10/08) and invoked/started on the presentation machine (Windows XP laptop).
