  • CCB Meeting notes
    • ShapeViewer, the library and other tools were well received
    • D.Shattuck presented BrainSuite
    • Yalin Wang has viewer which shows his conformal mapping algorithm
    • Paul showed registration methods based on mutual information measures.
    • It ld be good to know which (wiki) web pages are viewed by others.
    • Users of ShapeViewer want to know the value of the data attribute(s) at a selected vertex.
    • Two groups were particularily interested in ShapeTools: Statistical Modelling, and Conformal Mapping.
    • Timeline for next meeting: by April have: Testimonials, global distribution -> focus on polishing tools & documentation.
    • David Shattuck - group has a plug-in architecture that supports synchonization between mulitple views (of an image vol.).
  • Development cycle review
    • we completed one development cycle when we had expected two.
    • Feature creep delayed completion of prodcuts.
    • Feature creep added valuable features.
    • Mantis works well.
    • Testing would be improved by having a Macintosh available (to Jeff).
    • We did not have the planned developer release.
    • End user support could have been improved.
    • There is little communications between the various CCB groups.

Decisions

  • Next Development cycle focus: Complete and polish existing tools and documentation , for Jan 1.
    • Code Review - to stabilize the library interface.
    • Examples of how to write a file parser.
    • Tools list (for Jan.due date).
