  • RemoteFileSelectionBrowser is mostly done, installed in current ShapeViewer
  • Diff. between Paul's RSP resmpler and InterpolateContour. Most agreed that final vertex should be included in interpolated ucf contour.
• Nov 3 meeting coming up - need to finalize features on shape tools programs.
• methods of obtaining mesh surfaces from distance fields (marching cubes)
• data formats to support in shape conversions
• sufaces to support in shape conversions (open vs. closed)
• shape conversion issue: loss of resolution & attendent features going from mesh to distance field.
• use of octree in efficient rep. of level sets
• use phrase 'simplicial mesh' to define domain of shape conversions
