• Project Description
  • CCB SIG-NMTP is a Journal-Club like group meeting to discuss, review and demo the Best Neuroimaging Methods, Tools and Practices
  • NMTP examples include:
    • Methods: Mathematical models, algorithms, theoretical ideas & approaches, symbolic computation
    • Tools: computer implementations, software programs, binaries, viewers, parsers, filters, converters, etc.
    • Practices: Analysis protocols, anatomical delineation protocols, graphical workflows, recepies, etc.
  • Here is a template of what a 30-min discussion (lead by a group member) should include:
    • Note: These discussions are informal. The ppresenter is not lecturing, but openly discussing a method, tool or practice, with active participation from the audience.
    • NMTP Description: Name, developer, URL, history, language, platforms, license, GUI, etc.
    • Problem that this NMTP addresses
    • Usability, robustness, result-quality, endemic features, drawbacks
    • Publications and other NMTP references
    • NMTP Demo on CCB/LONI NI data (local build specs, configurations, starting the application, parameters, etc.)
    • Recommendations, comparison to simular CCB/LONI tools
  • RicoMagsipoc, AlexandreCunha and SysAdmins can help with the builds of these tools on the local systems (Grid). ArashPayan & CorneliusHojatkashani will help with Pipeline description and XML Pipeline wrappers of these tools for general usage.
