- The LONI SIG-SNP group aims to develop novel techniques, tools and protocols for analyzing multimodal structural, functional and diffusion data using shape modeling and statistical approaches.
- Independent inter-modalities studies involving separately computing various imaging markers from structural, functional and diffusion data are now-a-days well understood and supported by several neuroimaging suites of tools. The LONI SIG-SNP approach to multi-modal image fusion is to jointly model the multi-channel data and compute synchronous measures of shapes, connectivities and networks using the scalar, vector and tensor data types.
