Surface Warping Protocol
This page documents the Surface Warping Protocol. Given a collection of surfaces and anatomical contours on those surfaces, this process will warp the surfaces to an atlas. The atlas may be provided by the user or created from the average of the provided contours. The resulting warped surfaces will have anatomically homologous vertices, which allow the user to perform statistics on anatomically homologous regions on the surfaces across the subjects. There are two approaches to this process, the Dual Surface Warp protocol and the Octahedral Surface Warp protocol. Each of these is implemented as both a LONI Pipeline workflow and a collection of scripts.
