Recommendations for how to get to Santa Barbara:  
   1. Fly into [[http://www.flysba.com/][Santa Barbara Airport]]
   1. From the *[[http://www.burbankairport.com/][Burbank (BUR) airport]]* (this is nearly impossible from LAX).  Try [[http://www.amtrak.com][Amtrak]] for about $24 each way, walk to the station from the airport.  Once you get to the Santa Barbara station, the hotel is about a mile away [[%ATTACHURL%/AmtraktoSantaBarbaraInn.pdf][AmtraktoSantaBarbaraInn.pdf]] but you can take the wharf shuttle [[%ATTACHURL%/SB_shuttle.pdf][SB_shuttle.pdf]].   
   1. From the *[[http://www.lawa.org/lax/][Los Angeles (LAX) airport]]*.  Try [[http://www.santabarbaraairbus.com/lax/index.php][Santa Barbara Airbus]] for $42 each way.  In Santa Barbara, the shuttle drop off is a few blocks from the hotel.
