Recommendations for how to get to Santa Barbara:

1. Fly into Santa Barbara Airport
2. From the Burbank (BUR) airport (this is nearly impossible from LAX). Try Amtrak for about $24 each way, walk to the station from the airport. Once you get to the Santa Barbara station, the hotel is about a mile away AmtraktoSantaBarbaraInn.pdf but you can take the wharf shuttle SB_shuttle.pdf.
3. From the Los Angeles (LAX) airport. Try Santa Barbara Airbus for $42 each way. In Santa Barbara, the shuttle drop off is a few blocks from the hotel.
