1. Action Item Updates

• Seth/Edriss:
  • modifying ELN data for AIDB metadata; will be complete in 2 weeks
  • new fields not retrospective; old data will need to be edited
• Daren/XiaoDong/LeiYan:
  • held conference call with R. Williams and UT team
  • Lei Yan created class interface for mbDataSourceGN
  • fixed network issues with metadata server

2. Updates

• Willy
  • uploaded BxD^? data set from Duke into AIDB; figured out metadata mapping from Duke to AIDB
  • segmentation files will be parsed for AIDB
  • 44 data sets from Duke will be completed in 2 weeks
  • mbDataSourceAIDB programmer available
• Jeff
  • installing source code; reading documentation
  • getting up to speed on mbViewer rendering plugin API
• Carl
  • source code installed and running
  • next week start developing mbViewer rendering plugin API
• XiaoDong^?/LeiYan
  • working on backend to support query terms for plugin
• Daren/Queenie/Steve/Nikhil
  • mbViewer 3D image thumbnail controls completed
  • mbSecurity API being designed

3. Other issues

• Discussed design of Volume3D datatype
  • orientation/coordinate system:
    • Duke/ELN: no orientation; voxel coordinate system
    • CCDB: anatomical tags; Paxinos coordinate system
  • file formats:
    • "single file" 3D images (not supporting multiple slices in multiple files)
    • must be ImageJ^? readable
• Discussed mbSecurity API
  • need more detailed discussion
