Attach Diffusion Parameter:

The methods involved for attaching the diffusion parameter to the surface mesh differ depending on the type of analysis. For example, to sample the FA along the white matter boundary, it is important to decide whether or not to threshold the image so that you are sampling only white matter, and if so what threshold value to use. Below is an example where a threshold of 0.15 was used with a sampling sphere of 10mm. For more information on ucf_get_softmean_in_range see: Dr. Paul Thompson.
